West end of the ranch house, May 8, 2005

North side of the house showing studs where lean-to or addition
was. We think it was a kitchen or bathroom.

Closeup of the north door; you can see the back of the fireplace;
On this end of the house the metal roof has peeled away revealing
the original shake roof.

Entrance (east side of house). You are looking at the back of the
chimney.

Stepping inside, the wood floor is weathered but intact -- except
for a hole by the north door.

The bad news: the roof on this end of the house is nearly gone.
More bad news: the foundation on the east end of the house has become
so eroded that large cracks have appeared by both windows. This
is the south-facing window.

More cracking. this is the north-facing window.

The roof on the west end of the house is in much better shape except
for this hole.

Looking through the window into the western room; you can see the
fireplace.
